Shoe Luv

Karla and Montanna have me swooning at their kicks.

Pillow or No Pillow

My pillow from Neva Von (hint..hint..giveaway coming ssshh) arrived and I love it...Honestly I buy pillows and just have them sitting on the sofa to keep from putting them up. Most of the time it looks as though they have made a home when they have not. Sophie is picky with whom she keeps company. So pillows or no pillows?

These are all the pillows in the room at this moment

No pillows?
I dont know..I am kinda feeling the new pillow...

I was flipping through the pages of Marie Claire and saw this fabulous trench. I love the "fur" because it adds a diva kick to the traditional trench. Then after looking at it, I browsed through the rest of the line and the coats/jackets knocked me out.

Great prices at Karmaloop

Stripes or No Stripes, you be the Judge.

Originally my trip to Ikea was for the Stockholm rug. I love it, I love it, I love it. I just do. With that said. My plans for it were for my den. However...my den is a nest for kids, babies, play, necking (me and hubby of course), lounging, snacking, running...you get the point....I mentioned a while back that we were in the market for a new sofa for the den as well and I have not found her yet. My sister talked me out of the buy because I would be buying backwards basically. I really don't want to go with black in my den....so I put it back. But I was thinking....

I had some fabric left and wanted to see what black and white would look like on the floor of my office. I never did find a rug that made me happy so maybe....A few months ago I scratched the stripes off my list because I didn't think it would look right with the other things I had going on. So here is a "pretend" rug. How do you think the black and white stripes measure? Be honest...If so...I think the Stockholm has found a HOME.

(***FYI THIS IS NOT A REAL RUG)

More Green Baby

After seeing Joi's beautiful plant on her blog. I feel in love instantly. I searched high and low for the plant and came up with nothing but a $100.00 one at Home Depot that was not going down. I decided to let the dream go and move on with me (not my, but me) life...Until I ran across this beauty at Ikea. I almost &%$@# a brick when I browsed the plant area and saw it standing there with all its sisters and brothers for only $24.99.

FOUND!!!

Ok so it looks like I am not getting the table from Restoration Hardware because it is SOLD OUT in my region (the nerve). Anyway...I thought of all the chain furniture stores and Thomasville came up and BAM. Here are 3 tables that I really love. I think my heart is set on the first one though. What do you think of it? The second one was choice number two, but I refuse to pay $1200 for a coffee table. Dam that.

A Sign

I really wanted to add to my small street collection, but I think I am going to far with the NY love. I have these in the hall, but thought about moving them to formal with all the other NY art. This art is PRICEY but of course mine was not. I would like the long scroll, but I refuse to hand over dollar dollar bills yall for some names.

I love these. They are different and are not the average.

Do you like this look, or have any of these?

Chair in Progress

I am working on this chair now. FOR NOW it is white. I could not decide on white or gray so we will see how it works in white. I will give it to my daughter for her room.

I really had nothing else to do and decided to play with fabric. I wanted to see what the left over linen would do...nuthin.... I recalled I had a strip of this fabric left just to play with. I need a bold color for this chair. I hope to have it done this weekend. Stay tuned.

Finds and Buys

Well I have had the coffee table blues. I went to order this table and it was SOLD OUT in my region, but available in another. I cant understand for the life of me, why a Restoration Hardware would have it in stock in another states warehouse and not get it to a customer that wants to buy it, rather than let it sit. So I have a manager working on it for me. I hope it works out and they let me order it. Cross your toes for me.

Okay....

Forget the chair for now...that rug is the BEEEEES KNNEEEESSS. I posted it a while back on my want list and refused to pay $60 for it. Well baby it was on clearance for $14.98. They had two and I almost bought them both for the hell of it, but didn't. My daughters room is slowly coming together.

Now this baby....Man...I wanted it so bad. But again was not going to pay $99 for it. It was calling my name in a lonely corner for $25 and home it came. Its large and in charge.

I just happen to find this frame, and for $3.99 why not right? It is gorg. Its like jeweled in a small way. Made in India and speaks Indian made. I wish they had more because I would love to do a giveaway on one.

The end of shopping for now...
