Looking Back

Have you ever read back through your own blog or journal just to see where you were at that time? Well I did and WOWZA. You can click here to see my first post ever. It was so bad. I had no clue what I was doing. I was on rebound from leaving a forum and needed something to occupy my time and look what it has become.

Looking at the photos below at when I first started decorating my office is a trip. I thought it was the bomb before anything was even in there. Poor room had no color, and no real style (just yet).

My poor desk was empty with a lone stem. Just bare. (updated office pictures are over there <-------)

Tam's Weekend Buys

I found some pretty good items this weekend. Love the skirt from Jcrew, and the Jcrew corsage tee. All items courtesy of my wonderful Aunt who forced me to come and pick up my birthday dough, and I put it to good use at Jcrew. I tell you...my birthday really aided in me getting some really good stuff this year. Oh course my camera being the number one item.
Again..thanks Aney and everyone else who made my birthday a great one with great gifts.

Remember when I was looking for some boyfriend jeans. FOUND! and I love them. Gap had another pair that I didn't know about, and these are the ones. They fit great.

I also found some "fun" jeans. Urban Outfitters had a sale on all Levi's for $39

These fit like a glove, and I have been looking for some bleached jeans.

The model does not do these justice..sorry girlfriend.

I have done it! I am soooo happy. I went with the D3000, and do yall know I still dont have all my gift cards, even after that last post? SHHHIIISH...anyway. Its on the way, and I look forward to the day it arrives. I even ordered an 8gb SDHC memory card, so I cant wait. Photos to come next week...I know yall are tired of the NON TAM STYLES CAMERA PICS POSTS RIGHT? RIGHT, me to...until then....Peace, love, and Nikon D3000.

Wii We

Do you Wii? For the first time, I played the Wii bowling game, won, and had loads of fun. I am not a big video game gal. I have a small hand held Game Boy, the end. But this game my dears is the bees knees. I plan on getting us one next month. Wonder if there is a interior design game...hmmmm

I'm Going To Try This...

Here are 2 ideas from Decor8 that I must replicate. I am a magazine horder, yes..its true, and hard to handle at times. Mr Styles gets sick of them, and really I can only keep so many. So I think I will start removing the pages I love, and filing them as seen below with sheet protectors. Now....with that being said, I will only do that with fashion magazines. Home decor magazines are to much like books to me. I also love the idea of having clocks for all time zones on the wall in my office. Sounds great, yes?

New @ Target

Love the new items that have popped up at Target. Glam meets, warmth I would say. The throws offer warm fall colors, and acyclic lamps and other accessories offer the wow factor in mirrored forms. I love them all. I missed the mirrored tray that came in at under $35. Gotta love Tar-jay. Have you seen the new stuff?

New Kartell

Love these new to me Kartell chairs at Room Service. I tell you, everything he designs is just "golden", or should I say clear. Great design, for hungry taste lovers.

Desk Detailed

I have said I was in the market for a new desk. Well hot dangit..I am in love. Check out the extras this desk offers. Its different, and would fit great in my office. Fingers crossed that it shall be mine.
