My Favorite ISH: Tami

Tami over at Middle Rageously sent her photos for the MY FAVORITE ISH post.
She has great style, and I love the vintage flavor of her items.
Dont forget to read her notes at the end.

Notes From Tami

Highlights:
-I love art and have art everywhere in my home
-the chairs around the dining room table and the lamp (for which I didn't like the shade) were handmade in Morocco.
- the mid century chairs with silver bases around the dinning table are thrift store finds ($9 each!)
- my long picture in the dinning room is from Jamaica the other part of my heritage. love the color and got a great bargain on it in JA because I wouldn't let him charge me like an American. LOL
- the guitar on the wall is from an art cooperative in Atlanta that works with urban youth. The kids make everything then they sell their items for the center
-my favorite piece in the dining room is my buffet. It is an antique cabinet from Indonesia that I purchased from a store called Ruff n-Ready. I loveeeeee It! I'm going to turn it into a base kitchen cabinet in the spring for my new kitchen with a drop in sink and stove top with a concrete or glass counter top. stay tuned!
-the chair came with the living room set
-the hanging over the fireplace came from a trip to Guatemala
- the picture is an acquisition I made a few weeks ago at a yard sale for $10!
- the man on the floor was my fathers and he always looked so big when I was a kid so when he passed I took it. He said he brought it back from Vietnam...hmmm. I don't know if it is true but nice story.

Thanks Tami for participating!
